DT AERO 45 ^Sale

Fancy going faster and making your bike a little bit lighter? Doesn’t everyone? That is why we created our Aero 45 and to make it just that little bit sweeter we offer you the wheelset with your choice of DT Swiss hubs.

Our Aero 45 is a beast of a rim. It takes our Fast and Light rim keeps its strengths and then lowers its weight by around 100g per wheelset. So you still get a wide tubeless ready aero shape that is strong and stiff, but you have less rotational weight to push around.

We lowered the weight by changing our carbon fiber layup. The FL series rim was constructed solely from Toray T700. Our new Aero rim is constructed using a mix of Toray T700 and T800, that wa show we could lose weight and still have a stiff wheelset.

As you’ll be going faster, we have also beefed up the brake track. The FL series rim could withstand temperatures of 240°. The Aero rim withstands temperatures of up to 300°, making it the ideal choice for a summer getaway to the Alps.

To go with our new rim, you can pick from either the DT Swiss 240S or their 350S hubset. Both hubs feature the legendary DT Swiss drive connection and their high-quality manufacturing. The difference is that the 350S is a more affordable option and the 240S is the lighter option.

To keep your DT Swiss hub at the center of your new Aero wheelset we use Sapim CX-Ray spokes. CX-Ray spokes lead the way in aero spokes that are super light but super strong.

Wide Rim Tech

25mm rim wide creates a better, more stable support, while the shape of the tire and rim together creates regular, stable air flow, in short, more aerodynamics, less attrition. provides an ideal basis for 25/28mm tires, the sizes currently popular.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
