AERO 55 Disc ^Sale

Everyone wants to go fast for less effort, and that is why we created for you deep section carbon fiber wheels. Our Aero 55 disc wheelset is the ideal wheelset if you want great aero gains while still being able to ride on windy days.

Our new Aero range is built off the back of our highly successful Fast and Light series of wheels. We knew we had to keep the new Aero range just as stiff, just as strong, still tubeless ready but we wanted to make them lighter. We mad them lighter by changing our carbon fiber layup.

Instead of using solely Toray T700 as we did on our FL series, we now use a mix of carbon fiber in the layup process. We mix Toray T700 with T800 carbon fiber cloth, and that allowed us to reduce the wheelset’s weight by around 100g, while still keeping all the other great qualities of the FL series.

It is just not the rim that is new. We have also created a new disc brake hub, the ICAN D01 hubset. The new hubset is lighter than the hubs we previously used and is available in both Centerlock and 6-bolt fitment so you can be sure to fit your rotors on there. Axle wise we have gone with thru axles. Thru axles allow us to build you a stiffer wheelset and you’ll find we have gone for 100 x 12mm at the front and 142 x 12mm at the rear.

We finished the wheelset off by lacing it with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Sapim have been making great spokes for over a century now, and we feel their knowledge for making light, and strong spokes is unparalleled.

Wide Rim Tech

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
